We know that purchasing online can feel scary, especially if you're unsure of your size, so we've done our best to help make sure you get the size right on your first purchase.
Use this page as a guide only. We recommend first checking your measurements alongside the Size Guide on the product page along with clicking the link above the Size Guide that says 'View Pups Wearing This Style' to get the best idea of size. This page has been created based on our experience with the majority of customers, but there are always pups that don't fit into these typical sizes and should go by the Size Guide measurements on the product page first.

- Chest: measure around the widest part, just behind the front legs.
- Between two sizes? Go up. A bigger size can be adjusted in, a size too small cannot be let out.
Puppies
Sizing a puppy
Most puppies start in an XS, and not everything we make comes in one.
- Comes in XS: Step-in Harness, Suburban Collar, Adventure Collar
- Starts at S: City Collar, Adventure Strap Harness, Bandana
Expect to size up around the six month mark, and re-check the fit every few weeks while they are growing.
Sizing Questions
My dog is between two sizes. Which should I order?
Go up. There is adjustment at both the neck and the chest, so a slightly larger size can be taken in. A size too small cannot be let out.
How tight should it be?
You should be able to slide two fingers between the strap and your dog, and no more. Any looser and a determined dog can back out of it.
What if my dog is a mixed breed?
Pick whichever parent breed they take after most in build, then confirm by measuring. Breed is a shortcut, measurements are the truth.
My breed is not listed. What now?
Measure the base of the neck and the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs, then match those to the size chart on the product page. Send us the numbers and we will confirm.
What if I get the size wrong?
Our 30 Day Fit Guarantee covers it. Get in touch and we will sort out an exchange.
Do collars and harnesses use the same size?
Not always. Collars are sized on the neck, harnesses on the neck and chest, so plenty of dogs take one size in a collar and a different one in a harness. Check both.
