What's the difference between the Suburban Dog Leash and the City Dog Leash?
The Suburban leash is made with premium, high-strength polyester strapping that's built to handle strong, everyday pulling. The rose gold spring clip is sturdy and locks securely onto any collar or harness, it's not one of those flimsy little clips that makes you nervous every time your dog spots a bird.
The City leash is reinforced with nylon strapping on the inside for serious, long-lasting durability, so the outside looks like a designer fashion piece, but the inside is built to handle even the most enthusiastic tuggers. Our vegan leather is also scratch resistant up to 1200R on a CS-10 wheel, which is a fancy way of saying it's premium quality that holds up beautifully over time.
What size lengths do the Dog Leashes come in?
The Pupstyle Dog Leash comes in one size: 1.5m (5ft) long and 2cm wide, and is suitable for dogs of all sizes, from small breeds right up to large.
The generous length gives your pup plenty of room to sniff all the things, and if you need a little more control, you can easily shorten it by wrapping the leash around your wrist.
What's the D-ring on the leash for?
That little D-ring near the handle is one of our favourite design details. It's there so you can clip on your matching Pupstyle poop bag holder and keep your hands free during walks.
No more juggling the leash, your phone, a coffee, treats, and a poop bag all at once. Just clip the holder on, grab what you need, and keep walking.
It also means everything stays together in one spot, so when you're heading out the door, you grab the leash and the poop bag holder comes with it. Less to forget, less to carry.
How do I clean and care for the leash?
Suburban Leash: Keeping it fresh is easy. Give it a wipe down with a damp, soapy sponge and let it air dry. The polyester is quick-drying, so it won't stay soggy after a wash or an unexpected puddle situation.
For the rose gold hardware, just keep it away from perfumes, moisturisers and sunscreens where possible, and dry the metal parts after cleaning. A little care goes a long way.
City Leash: Vegan leather is easy to care for, but it does love a little attention to stay looking fresh:
- Cleaning: Spot clean with a lightly soapy sponge and leave to dry naturally. A fabric protector spray can also help protect the finish.
- Avoid soaking: For best results, don't allow the vegan leather to soak through. Spot cleaning only.
- Protect the hardware: Keep rose gold hardware away from direct contact with perfumes, moisturisers, and sunscreens, as these can cause discolouration over time.
