Most harnesses go on over the head, and for a lot of dogs that is the worst part of the walk. Ears get folded back, there is a wriggle, sometimes a dash under the table. A step-in harness skips all of that. It lies flat on the floor, your dog steps in with their front legs, and it closes around them instead of being pulled over them.
Ours goes a step further with a neck closure we designed ourselves. The neck strap clips open too, so nothing passes over the ears at all. Two clips and you are out the door.
It is a good fit for head-shy or anxious dogs, breeds with big or sensitive ears, fluffy coats you would rather not flatten, and older dogs who are less keen on being handled. Bringing home a new pup? Our puppy collar and harness range starts at XS.
